Candace Cameron Bure’s Favorite Bible Verses Will Get You Through The Day

Candace Cameron Bure makes no apologies for her faith. The actress has never shied away from sharing her love for Jesus with her fans. She hopes it will encourage others to seek out God. Now, she’s sharing her favorite Bible verses on kindness to continue bringing God’s Word to the masses.

Candace probably had to reflect and lean on a lot of these passages during her time on “The View” as the lone conservative among some very bitter leftwingers. She has a new book on kindness called “Kind Is The New Classy: The Power Of Living Graciously.”

To follow that up, she shared her favorite Bible verses on kindness for Bible Gateway. When she feels overwhelmed and needs a reminder to be kind, she looks to the Bible for guidance.

Bure’s first pick, 2 Corinthians 12:9, is something the actress says she can “ingest” all day long as a reminder that God’s kindness will help carry her when she is weak.

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

Next, she shares Ephesians 4:32. It reminds the longtime star to practice forgiveness. This is not something you hear often from a Hollywood star!

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Her third choice is Galatians 5:22-26, which is about God’s spirit. It is important to carry God’s spirit to encourage kindness!

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”
