The entire world is looking forward to next month’s royal wedding between Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle. Now, Harry has announced who his best man will be, and the person he has chosen is sure to melt your heart!
Daily Mail reported that it has just been revealed that Harry has asked his older brother, Prince William, to be his best man! William has accepted the position, saying he was “honored” to have been asked.

“Prince Harry has asked his brother The Duke of Cambridge to be his best man at his wedding to Ms. Meghan Markle,” Kensington Palace said in a statement. “The Duke of Cambridge is honoured to have been asked, and is very much looking forward to supporting his brother at St George’s Chapel, Windsor on May 19th. Prince Harry served as best man to The Duke of Cambridge at his wedding to Miss Catherine Middleton in 2011.”
Concerns had previously been raised that William would not be able to attend the wedding at all since he was due to be at the FA Cup final on the same day as part of his duties as President of the Football Association. Thankfully, it seems that William has his priorities straight and will be returning the favor after Harry served as his best man when he married Kate Middleton seven years ago.

After Harry announced his engagement back in November, William said his wife and children were “all very excited, delighted for them both and wishing them all the happiness in this very exciting time.”
“For me personally I hope it means he stays out of my fridge, it will stop him scrounging off all my food, he’s done over the last few years,” William joked.
Harry and Meghan will be getting married at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle in what many are calling the wedding of the year!
