**UPDATE March 13th***

Contrary to what WWE previously reported, Rousey will NOT be on every Raw until Wrestlemania. She missed the March 12th edition and is not scheduled to appear again until the “go home” show April 2nd in Atlanta. WWE deleted an article on their website announcing the appearances.

Here are more details via PostWrestling.com:

POST Wrestling was informed by one person inside WWE that the article was not given final approval and ran on the site. There were discussions about using Rousey anyway as there was concern over the fact they were already doing a “no show” storyline involving Brock Lesnar, but ultimately the decision was to keep Rousey off of television.

To be honest, I didn’t even notice Rousey wasn’t on Raw. The episode was so good and moved so quickly. Also, Rousey doesn’t need to be here every week. The story is told. There isn’t much more that needs to be done to create the story around her match against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. I imagine she is using this time training and preparing herself for the big moment. Now is the time WWE can build up the other matches on the card. Rousey is still a special attraction and should be treated as such.

What is curious about this that WWE also produced and posted a (now-deleted) video on Twitter sharing the news as well.

The original March 5th story with the deleted tweet is below.

Remember how I said Ronda Rousey still needs to prove herself? Well, she just proved that she’s not Brock Lesnar with an announcement from WWE that she’ll be on every episode of Monday Night Raw from here until WrestleMania 34.

Raw is about to get a lot more Rowdy!

It has been announced that Ronda Rousey will appear on every single episode of Raw leading up to WrestleMania. “Rowdy” Ronda will make special appearances in:

3/5 – BMO Harris Bradley Center, Milwaukee

3/12 – Little Caesars Arena, Detroit

3/19 – American Airlines Center, Dallas

3/26 – Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland

4/2 – Philips Arena, Atlanta

What impact will Rousey have on the Road to WrestleMania? Tune in to Raw every week to find out!

Of course, WWE also shared a video announcing the exciting news.

Ronda’s presence at every Raw leading up to WrestleMania might seem like a small detail, but fans who have dealt with Lesnar’s absentee reign as Universal Champion know it’s not. Honestly, Ronda has taken a huge step to earning my respect as a fan with this announcement – it proves that she’s willing to put all her attention and focus on WWE.

That being said, Ronda still has to prove herself in some other ways. The most glaring thing she needs to work on is her promos – either she needs to learn to talk or she needs to get someone else to do the talking for her. And because we have yet to see her wrestle, she still needs to prove that she understands ring psychology and how to work safe – it goes without saying that a pro wrestling match is a whole different animal than an MMA fight.

So, while I’m glad that Ronda seems to be giving WWE her all, I’m not 100% convinced – yet.
