Welterweight contenders Darren Till and Stephen Thompson will compete in the main event of UFC Fight Night 130, officials confirmed recently.

Ste for May 27 from the Echo Arena in Liverpool, the event marks the debut for the Octagon in the England town.

Till, a Liverpool native, puts his unbeaten record on the line. He is coming off a first round finish of Donald Cerrone this past October that pushed his mark to 16-0-1. Till is 4-0-1 since signing with the UFC, including another stoppage win vs. Wendell de Oliveira.

Thompson (14-2-1) rebounded from a majority decision loss to champion Tyron Woodley in November with a decision victory vs. Jorge Masvidal. Back in 2016, he fought Woodley to a majority draw, setting up the rematch.

Along with Till-Thompson, new bouts include Lina Lansberg vs. Gina Mazany, Darren Stewart vs. Eric Spicely and Makwan Amirkhani vs. Jason Knight.
