Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was knocked out of the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix Saturday night, dropping a decision to Chael Sonnen in the main event of Bellator 192. The bout took place from The Forum and aired live on Paramount Network.

The 39-year-old Jackson (37-13) has now lost each of his last two fights – both via decision – to wrestling-based fighters in Sonnen and Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal. From 2013-2016, he picked up five consecutive wins over Satoshi Ishii, Fabio Maldonado, Lawal, Christian M’Pumbu and Joey Beltran.

Jackson, a former UFC light heavyweight champion, was unable to withstand the pressure of Sonnen in this one.

“Win or lose I fight like a man,” he posted on Twitter. “Love my fans that still rides with me, just know I’m still not done. I felt great in there. I had great cardio, but Chael fought a smart fight.

“But he also fought like a (expletive).”

Jackson came in well over the 206-pound limit for light heavyweight, meaning he is likely to stay at heavyweight moving forward with Bellator.
