Brock Lesnar’s Worst Moments All Came at Wrestlemania

Even though Lesnar seems to be making more of an effort in his matches recently, there are still many people who cannot wait for him to drop the title. Of course, you cannot really blame them, considering the atrocious matches we all had to suffer since he obtained the title (excluding the match with AJ Styles). So, let us look at little closer at some of the worst matches of Brock Lesnar and try to find out how a brilliant performer turned into something far less impressive.

Goldberg vs. Lesnar at Wrestlemania XX

The match between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg was supposed to be a dream match. However, the dream became a quick nightmare, since neither of them had any interest in putting on a good match.

Both Brock Lesnar and Goldberg were set to leave the WWE after their match at Wrestlemania. Lesnar showed quite a lack of interest in the match, but so did Goldberg at the time. Despite the star power in the ring, this was one of the most underwhelming matches in history.

Brock Lesnar Vs. Triple H at Wrestlemania XXIX

It seems like Lesnar has little luck with his Wrestlemania matches, because another one of his worst matches ever was his match against Triple H at Wrestlemania XXIX.

I do need to mention that Brock Lesnar was not the main cause of the match being so bad, because it was the Game who actually caused Lesnar to look weak.

The problem with the match is that their styles simply did not blend. Lesnar could not show of his strength, nor could Triple H show his skills as the Cerebral Assassin. Whether it came down to a lack of preparation, or a lack of passion, we will never know.

Brock Lesnar vs. Dean Ambrose at Wrestlemania XXXII

Another underwhelming match came at WrestleMania XXXII, where Lesnar faced Dean Ambrose in a street fight. Ambrose later stated that Lesnar had no interest in preparing the match. All he wanted to do – at least according to Ambrose – was his suplex city gimmick.

The sad thing was that there was a palpable tension between the two, which could have meant a rivalry for the ages. Instead, we were left with a lukewarm match that far from delivered its promise.

The fans were not the only ones disappointed, though. As I mentioned briefly earlier, Ambrose was quite annoyed with the match. During an episode of the Stone Cold Podcast, Ambrose would describe Lesnar as lazy and unmotivated. Well, these qualities have been clear to everyone since Lesnar became champion. Even though he is trying to make an effort now, I wonder if it is too little too late?
