It seems all but confirmed that Ronda Rousey will be joining the WWE in the near future. One of her fellow “Four Horsewomen” signed with the company and another looks to be training for wrestling.

But beyond facing WWE’s Horsewomen, could Rousey be facing another UFC star? That would be the case of Cris “Cyborg” Justino gets her way.

Via CBSSports:

“If Ronda is wanting to make the fight for the fans, I would still be willing to give them it, but I think it would be better to take place inside the WWE ring,” Justino said. “For her, it gets her one step closer to Hollywood, and for me, it would be another exciting challenge and a chance to test my athletic ability.”

Cyborg was responding to Rousey’s MMA coach wishing Ronday would have one more match, and it be against Cyborg inside the Octagon. But it seems like Rousey is done with MMA and has decided firmly on a run in WWE.

This isn’t the first time Cyborg called for a pro-wrestling match. Over the summer she called out SmackDown Live star Becky Lynch for a match at SummerSlam. WWE.com even picked up the story.

Beyond her own words, there has been no talk of WWE wanting to bring Cyborg in. I also don’t know how serious she is, considering Justino is one the most feared women in MMA and is currently jockeying for a match against former UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion Holly Holm.

What We Don’t Know About Rousey’s WWE Run

While it is all but set-in-stone that Rousey will wrestle in WWE, the question is what kind of schedule she will have. I doubt she’ll be on the road 300+ days a year making all the little shows. And hopefully, she won’t be working Brock’s “once every few months” schedule. Perhaps she’ll only work the PPVs. Or maybe this supposed Survivor Series match will be a one-time thing. Maybe she just wants to get in the ring once, do it, and then move on to her acting career. Time will tell. But it is hard not to get excited about the possibilities.
