1. What is a Solar Eclipse?
A solar eclipse is a lineup of the Sun, Moon, and Earth. During this phenomena, the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth and will either fully or partially block the Sun. This year’s solar eclipse will occur on August 21st and millions of Americans all across the continental United States will be able to witness a solar eclipse for the first time in decades.
