Despite being one of America’s Founding Fathers, liberals want to tear down the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Far-left agitators like Al Sharpton are demanding the monument to Thomas Jefferson be torn down because our 3rd President owned slaves. In a recent interview with PBS’ Charlie Rose, Sharpton completely ignored the importance Jefferson had in shaping our country, including writing the Declaration of Independence, and declared that his statue should be removed from public light.
