Intercontinental Champion the Miz and the perfect ten Tye Dillinger might have a genuine dislike for each other. Even though the two are on different brands at the moment, it still is not stopping them to attack each other on tTwitter
The “problems” between the Miz and Tye Dillinger seem to have started in 2016. During a Q&A with wrestling fans, Tye Dillinger answered some fan questions on social media. One fan asked who he would like to wrestle against on the main roster. He responded:
The Miz replied:
Tye Dillinger jumped on the tweet and gave a cheeky reply, quickly followed by some subtle cheek from the Miz. The result? An open invite from the Miz for the intercontinental title!
Unfortunately, it only stayed with tweets, because the Miz ended up being transferred to RAW, while Tye Dillinger is currently on the SmackDown roster. A rivalry between the two would have been good for Dillinger since he is not being used on the SmackDown roster at the moment.
After the bitter disappointment of not getting a rivalry between the Miz and Tye Dillinger, I was quite surprised to learn that the pair have taken to Twitter with some pointed comments in each others direction. However, many fans believe the Twitter hate is real and the pair can’t stand the sight of each other anymore.
After reading the comments on Twitter myself, I believe that the pair are working towards a rivalry. Both superstars are quite respectful in real life, so I don’t see either of them attacking the other for no “real” reason. The Miz is known to boost the careers of “forgotten” wrestlers, so maybe he is trying to do the same for Tye Dillinger?
So, what happened between Tye Dillinger and the Miz? Well, it started with a comment by Tye Dillinger after the Intercontinental Championship match between the Miz and Dean Ambrose at Great Balls of Fire.
The Miz seemed to reply in true Miz-style, which makes me hopeful for a future rivalry.
Unfortunately, Tye Dillinger would formulate a rather personal attack, which also involves the Miz’ wife Maryse! He also hinted to the Miz and his move stealing attitude, with one of the most recent being the ‘yes’ kicks.
The Miz would retaliate with something even Enzo Amore could be jealous of.
Until the time of this article, it seems like Tye Dillinger had the last word, hinting he would be coming for the Intercontinental Championship.
In my humble opinion, I think the Miz and Tye Dillinger are building up a rivalry. However, you do have to wonder how this is going to work, considering they are on different brands.
