SICK! Chick-fil-A Taken Over by Protesters Dressed as Bloody Cows, Carrying Knives

Tuesday was “Cow Appreciation Day” at Chick-fil-As across the country, and enthusiastic customers were rewarded with free food for dressing up like cows.

While most people used the day as an opportunity to score some delicious food, a bunch of protesters at a Pinellas Park, Florida location decided to terrorize children by dressing up as bloody cows and chickens sporting real-looking knives.

An animal rights group called Direction Action Everywhere Pinellas protested the store to make a political point, although we aren’t quite sure what point, given that Chick-fil-A does not serve beef of any kind.

In the video below, this group of protesters can be seen blocking the middle of the store scaring many children and startling customers.

According to local media reports, customers originally were amused by the individuals until they quickly realized that the protesters were covered in fake blood with one person carrying what looked like a large knife.

One woman, Nicole Kretchmar, described the situation: “People running in with knives, bleeding. Like bleeding on their shirts and just bloody knives. It scared the kids.”

Another woman, Tina Leacock, described the situation as such: “That’s sad, because a lot of the kids are an age where they can’t tell the difference between what’s real and fake. So, I believe everybody has a right to say what they believe in and what they feel is right. But, I also believe they took it too far.”
