Sandra’s Favorite WWE Women Wrestlers of All Time

I’ve held out on doing this list for a while, not because I was not excited to do one, but because it is a difficult list to make. There have been many trailblazing women in the WWE, which did not make my decision any easier. Still, after a lot of soul-searching, here is my list of my favorite female wrestlers of all time!

1. Chyna

She wasn’t called the ninth wonder of the world for nothing. Chyna was the first woman in the world to enter the Royal Rumble and the first and only woman to win the Intercontinental Championship. She proved that women could hang with the big boys and certainly paved the way for many women today.

2. Trish Stratus

Choosing between Chyna and Trish Stratus was incredibly difficult for me, because they both deserve the No. 1 spot in my opinion. Trish has faced some of the toughest opponents in the WWE and bought women some more time on the main roster. She is one of the reasons beautiful women are taken seriously in wrestling.

3. Lita

Like Paige, Lita dealt with a lot of controversy during her WWE career. However, despite her personal issues, Lita is still one of the best female wrestlers in my eyes. Until this day, I have not seen a female wrestler with the same fearlessness as her.

4. Paige

She may be quite young and surrounded by controversy, but I honestly believe that Paige is one of the most talented women to ever step foot in the ring. She grew up in a wrestling family, something you can certainly tell when you look at her performance and in-ring awareness. I’m also sure that in a few years, Paige will be No. 1 on my list.

5. AJ Lee

Until this day, AJ Lee’s Black Widow is my favorite submission of all time. Her submission trumps even the submissions on the male roster in my opinion. Unfortunately, she’s no longer in the WWE, but I still hope she’ll make a return one day.

6. Beth Phoenix

Beth Phoenix is undoubtedly one of the most powerful women to ever have wrestled. Like Chyna, she stepped away from the traditional “Diva” image and showed us all what a real female wrestler should be.

7. Charlotte Flair

Compared to other female wrestlers on this list, Charlotte has not been wrestling for that long. Still, she’s undoubtedly one of the best women on the roster today and every match she puts on is phenomenal. She also has a tremendous passion for what she does, which has led her to shatter a few glass ceilings in her short career. I cannot wait to see what she will do in the future.

Which female wrestlers are on your list of all-time favorites? Do you want someone else on this list? Do you have a different No. 1 than me? Let me know in the comment section below and I look forward to reading your top picks from the WWE women’s roster!
