Don Rickles could make anyone laugh. Mr. Warmth wasn’t afraid to make fun of anyone, including John Wayne.
John Wayne came on the Don Rickles Show to learn how to tell jokes. His timing wasn’t quite the same as Mr. Warmth’s but the video below sure is funny! First he tries to make Duke anonymous, but there is no mistaking that walk.
I’m glad that John Wayne stuck to westerns rather than stand up comedy, but that sure was funny. Don Rickles was laughing!
