Manhattan

At least four people have been stabbed at a Midtown Manhattan public school on Wednesday.

Three of the victims have been transported to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. However, ABC 7 out of New York believes the injuries are non-life threatening. It is unclear if the victims were students.

The New York Police Department arrived on scene at PS35 at West 52nd Street and 8th Avenue.

Initial reports indicate the stabbing attacks occurred around 1:40 p.m.

The attacker fled the area heading towards downtown.

Police are seeking a 16-year-old boy.

ABC 7 Reporter Rob Nelson reports live from the scene. He confirms four individuals were injured, but none of the injuries were life threatening.

He believes the students are connected to Manhattan high school, but notes it is unconfirmed.
