The Raw after Wrestlemania is usually where the surprises happen, but now that Smackdown Live is live on Tuesdays, we expected a few major surprises to happen there as well.

Two major NXT superstars who were expected to be called up debuted on Smackdown Live.

The perfect 10 Tye Dillinger and the King of Strong Style Shinsuke Nakamura!

Dillinger has been a long-time coming. He has been in and out of development in WWE for a few years and it seemed like he was one of the guys who couldn’t catch a break. A lot of big-name wrestlers, including Cody Rhodes and Colt Cabana are major Tye Dillinger fans. But his “Perfect 10” gimmick won over the NXT universe and made him a huge fan favorite. Dillinger debuted in a match against Curt Hawkins, and had the whole crowd chanting “TEN!”

Shinsuke Nakamura was one of the biggest stars in Japanese wrestling before he left to come to America to make a bigger name for himself. He instantly took NXT by storm with his infectious personality and unique style and charisma. He made his first appearance when he interrupted the Miz and Maryse to a massive ovation.

We’re hoping Nakamura is put in a match with fellow Smackdowner and former New JapanerĀ AJ Styles.

Both debuts were massive fan favorites in NXT. Here’s hoping they can make the transition to big stars on the main roster!
