Oprah Winfrey has decades of name recognition. Everyone seems to know who she is and at least some of her life’s story. That could really help her if she ever ran for political office. She’s never expressed an interest before now.
But, in a recent interview with Bloomberg, Oprah was asked if she would run for President. She took a second to think about it and then seemed to stun everyone with the possibility of this actually happening.
During the conversation, David Rubenstein asserted that you don’t have to have government experience to run for President anymore. Oprah implied that since that appears to no longer be the case, perhaps she will run.

As a conservative, I don’t want Oprah to be president. She was an early supporter of Barack Obama. That says a lot about her judgement and political leanings. No thanks!
