Willie Nelson isn’t doing well. Years of hard living are taking their toll on the legend. But while he’s with us, we should pray for him and remember the legacy he had when it came to music.
A lot of music was made with his dear friend and fellow “outlaw” Merle Haggard.
Merle and Willie helped popularize “Outlaw Country.” Outlaw Country was country music with a bit of whisky and a lot of attitude mixed in.
The love of a good time and a hatred for authority made Outlaw completely change the game when it came to country music.
