While promoting his newest movie “Jason Bourne” in Australia, Matt Damon took the opportunity to stomp on the Constitution. The actor, whose movies often involve gun violence and who goes in public with armed security, stated that he wants Americans to lose their Second Amendment rights.
“You guys did it here in one fell swoop and I wish that could happen in my country, but it’s such a personal issue for people that we cannot talk about it sensibly. We just can’t,” Damon said.
So, while he is promoting a film which relies heavily on guns, he speaks about how awful guns are. What a hypocrite! Listen to him in his own words in the video below!
Even a 10 year old can see the hypocrisy of him earning his living from movies involving guns while he speaks about revoking the Second Amendment. Maybe he will get the message if his movie flops. Words have consequences, Matt.
