Most people engaging in an extramarital affair use cunning, stealth, and guile to keep their spouse from discovering their lies.
But poor Dan Gundry isn’t most people. He took his secret partner to a live TV game show. Which is a pity because Dan’s wife Helen and his fifteen-year-old daughter were watching the show at home.
But wait! It gets even stranger. Dan never expected to be on TV. He was attending what he thought was a birthday party when film crews from Britain’s hit show “Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway” burst in and arranged a live TV wedding for two of the other guests at the event. And after the episode aired, Dan claimed he and Helen were divorced and the partner he was filmed with was not his mistress but in fact his second wife! He posted pictures online to prove it:
Helen, however, claims that she and Dan are still married and he’d promised to end all contact with his mistress/wife/whatever last year. She took to Facebook to claim she was now pursuing him in the courts.
And in the middle of all this chaos, sadly, is a teenage daughter who is likely ashamed at the way her mom and dad are behaving in front on the media.
We don’t know where this story will end, but they’ll be plenty more tears, accusations, and general weirdness before it does.
