Fans were overjoyed last September when country music legend Kenny Rogers announced his nationwide Final World Tour: The Gambler’s Last Deal. After being in the music industry for over 50 years, this was meant to be Rogers’ farewell tour, and he couldn’t wait to get out there to perform for his fans one last time.

Unfortunately, it has now been reported that Rogers’ tour has been postponed due to undisclosed health issues. According to American News, Rogers has had to push back his April 7th show in Tulsa to July 14th. Though he has not revealed what these health problems are, at 77 years-old, Rogers made the wise decision to get himself hospitalized to take care of them.

“It’s happily sad or sadly happy,” Rogers said when he announced his farewell tour. “I’m going to do a big worldwide tour, and it’s going to be my last. I’m going to say goodbye at that point; I’ve done this long enough.”

We can only hope that Rogers gets these issues taken care of so he can get back on the road to do what he loves. SHARE this story if you’re praying for Kenny Rogers!
