When a young couple who call themselves “Bus Life” came upon a 1993 Ford school bus for sale, they immediately realized they could use it to have the life of freedom that they’ve always craved.
According to AWM, the bus was in rough shape when they bought it and the couple had very little experience with renovation. Despite this, they set about making the bus into their dream home.
The couple added laminate hardwood flooring, decorative Christmas lights and flowing curtains to make the bus feel more like home. They also installed a RV tub and porcelain toilet, and three months after they bought it, they moved in!
Four years later, the couple still calls this bus home, and they showed off their creation in a youtube video below that has amassed over 2.5 million views.
“Follow your dreams and never give up on your ideas!!” the couple said. “We can’t even count how many people said to us that this was a crazy idea, we would never make it out of the driveway.. We hope this video continues to inspire others!”
