Conservatives everywhere were furious on Sunday night after Beyonce shamelessly used her Super Bowl halftime show to slam our nation’s police officers. Now, however, Beyonce’s performance has come back to bite her in a major way.

On Sunday night, Beyonce performed her new anti-police song “Formation” as she was flanked by dancers dressed as the violent Black Panther party. Video of the song has been called a rallying cry for the Black Lives Matter movement while also being a “slap in the face” for our nation’s police officers.

According to Daily Mail, a rally has now been staged outside the NFL building in support of the #BoycottBeyonce movement. The rally will reportedly take place on February 16 from 8am-4pm.

“Are you offended as an American that Beyoncé pulled her race-baiting stunt at the Superbowl?” an invitation to the event reads. “Do you agree that the Black Panthers was/is a hate group which should not be glorified? Come and let’s stand together. Let’s tell the NFL we don’t want hate speech & racism at the Superbowl ever again!”

The invitation goes on to advise protesters that they should also “be peaceful and respect the boundaries of private property.”

Many have spoken out to slam Beyonce for her performance, including former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani.

“This is football, not Hollywood, and I thought it was really outrageous that she used it as a platform to attack police officers who are the people who protect her and protect us, and keep us alive,” he said afterwards.
