It’s been three years since American Sniper Chris Kyle was shot dead by fellow war veteran Eddie Ray Routh at a shooting range in Rough Creek, Texas.
To mark the somber occasion, Kyle’s widow Taya shared a touching yet heartbreaking tribute to her late husband. Taya admitted that the last few months have been “particularly hard” given the release of the movie American Sniper and the trial of Routh that resulted in him being sentenced to life in prison.
According to Daily Mail, Taya called the deaths of her husband and his friend Chat Littlefield an act of “pure evil at work.” However, she added that she does not want to focus on the “pain and grief” of her life, and that she instead wants to focus on what she has learned from it.
