Actor Rob Lowe doesn’t fit into the Hollywood liberal stereotype. He speaks out on conservative principles often. But, his 2013 discussion with gun grabber Piers Morgan regarding the Second Amendment is worth revisiting given President Obama’s recent attempt to limit our right to bear arms.
Lowe put Morgan in his place by reminding him that our constitutional right to own guns was based upon kicking Morgan’s people, the British, off our land. Lowe goes on to state that he owns three guns in order to protect his own family.
Lowe also said rather than working to limit our Second Amendment rights, the federal government should be focused on improving “mental health, parenting, personal responsibility.”
