The death of Antonin Scalia has shaken a lot of Americans. And now some suspicious news is coming out regarding how things were handled after his body was found.
Scalia died at the Cibolo Creek Ranch in remote West Texas just an hour from the border with Mexico. Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara was the judge who declared Scalia dead. But, Guevara never examined Scalia’s body and she didn’t even order an autopsy. She was even out of town!
While this is legal, it is highly unusual given Scalia’s significance. Guevara stood by her fast decisions by saying that Scalia died of natural causes.
John Poindexter, who owns the ranch, found Scalia after the Justice didn’t come down for breakfast. “We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head. His bed clothes were unwrinkled,” Poindexter said.
So, we know that a pillow was over the Justice’s head, a judge declared him dead without even seeing his body and no autopsy was ordered.
Scalia was the arch conservative on the court. He was seen as a hero to those on the right and a champion for the Constitution. His death leaves an enormous hole and an opportunity for President Obama.
